GEAR TO BRING: Your own linens or a Sleeping Bag, Pillow, towel, toiletries, camera, Bible, daypack, camp chair. *If you need any of these, just let us know. ATTIRE: Rain coat, 2 pairs of shoes in case one gets wet, shorts and long pants, modest swimsuit if you want to go in. BATHROOMS: Yes ladies, we have warm showers! Woohoo! CARPOOLING: Best to coordinate ahead of time about when you are going. You can post on FB event wall for others to see, or wait till the week of when we'll send out an email to all those on the roster. Most people just leave cars at peoples houses. KEEP IN MIND: that there are always dangerous elements when out in nature: Cliffs, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, icy, rocky and have steep embankments. Shoes may get muddy or wet. When hiking, many times the woods are your only bathroom.
