Get ready for another light hike on the WEST SIDE of town!!! January's Light Hike will be to Cochran Shoals along the beautiful Chattahoochee River. If you haven’t hiked this part of the river, then this is a MUST SEE! So, come out as we enjoy some wonderful fellowship and great scenery together! This will be an easy hike with a difficulty level of D2 with a distance of 3.2 miles For your sake and the sake of the group, please do not assume beyond your ability. Hiking Rating Scale: D1 Easy (beginner hikers) mostly flat D2 Easy to moderate (regular hikers) some hills D3 Moderate (a cardio workout) mountainous D4 Moderate to strenuous (challenging workout) Steep grades/agility D5 Strenuous (serious physical challenge) Very steep and far WHAT TO BRING: Small Day Pack to carry your gear- rain jacket, camera, water, snacks, etc. Optional Things to Bring: Bible, Hiking Poles, First-Aid Kit, GPS. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.
