**Unfortunately, due to today's rainy forecast, we are cancelling both Light Hikes. So please make sure to join us again next month. God bless!** This winding in-and-out trail is perfect for summer! At the end of the trail, be prepared to dip your toes in the cool water and take some pictures of the beautiful falls! Some parts of this trail are a little steep so we will go slow – but make sure to wear shoes with good tread! *If you’ve never been to an Echo event, this is the perfect time to come! You will definitely meet other first-timers and leave feeling encouraged and connected* This will be an easy hike with a difficulty level of D2 with a distance of 3.2 miles. For your sake and the sake of the group, please do not assume beyond your ability. D1 Easy (beginner hikers) mostly flat D2 Easy to moderate (regular hikers) some hills D3 Moderate (a cardio workout) mountainous D4 Moderate to strenuous (challenging workout) Steep grades/agility D5 Strenuous (serious physical challenge) Very steep and far The GPS address is: Old Rope Mill Park – 690 Olde Rope Mill Park Rd, Woodstock, GA 30188 TIME: 9:30am – 12pm DATE: July 9, 2022 WHAT TO BRING: Small Day Pack to carry your gear- rain jacket, camera, water, snacks, etc. Optional Things to Bring: Bible, Hiking Poles, First-Aid Kit, GPS. No children or animals please. LUNCH: Your Pie Pizza – 285 Ridgewalk Pkwy, Suite 100, Woodstock, GA 30188 KEEP IN MIND: There are always dangerous and unforeseen elements when out in nature: Cliffs, water hazards, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, rocky, icy and have steep embankments. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.
