Join us for a day of awe-inspiring scenery, good exercise and great fellowship as we get out and explore God’s incredible creation along the Chattahoochee in Roswell. This will be an easy hike with a difficulty level of D1 with a distance of 3.6 miles. D1 Easy (beginner hikers) mostly flat D2 Easy to moderate (regular hikers) some hills D3 Moderate (a cardio workout) mountainous D4 Moderate to strenuous (challenging workout) Steep grades/agility D5 Strenuous (serious physical challenge) Very steep and far PARKING We will meet in front of the buildings at the round-a-bout. You will see flag poles. Riverside Park - 575 Riverside Road Roswell, GA 30075 Come early, parking is limited. We begin at 10:00 am SHARP! TIME: 10:00 am – 2:00pm including lunch afterward at Three Dollar Café WEATHER PERMITTING: showers, it's off. DATE: Saturday, February 8, 2025 WHAT TO BRING: Water and hiking poles if desired. No children or animals please. LUNCH: Immediately following hike at Three Dollar Cafe – 8595 Roswell Road, Sandy Spring, GA 30350 KEEP IN MIND: There are always dangerous and unforeseen elements when out in nature: Cliffs, water hazards, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, rocky, icy and have steep embankments. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.
