HIKING LEVEL: D2-D3 Depending on trail/ Moderate with occasional Steep inclines. Hiking rain or shine. FOOD (included in your cost): MENU: TBD AGENDA: Hiking to remarkable scenery each day or relaxing by the lake, kayaking/ canoeing (supplied for no additional cost), floating on a tube, paddle board (bring your own), beach volleyball, cornhole tournament, facilitated connecting, worship music, challenging devotional, playing cards or board games. US Space and Rocket Center Museum is additional cost. GEAR TO BRING: Your own linens or a Sleeping Bag, Pillow, TOWEL, toiletries, camera, Bible, daypack, camp chair. *If you need any of these, just let us know. ATTIRE: Light raincoat, 2 pairs of shoes in case one gets wet, shorts – it is sure to be warm, modest swimsuit if you want to go in. BATHROOMS: Yes ladies, we have warm showers! Woohoo! CARPOOLING: We will send out an email to all on the roster 10 days before we leave so everyone can secure carpooling. Most people just leave cars at people’s houses. When turning on the road, it will look like a residential neighborhood. KEEP IN MIND: that there are always dangerous elements when out in nature: Cliffs, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, icy, rocky and have steep embankments. Shoes may get muddy or wet. When hiking, many times the woods are your only bathroom.
