**SPECIAL NOTE: THIS HIKE IS ONLY FOR THOSE IN THEIR 20’s AND 30’s** Our Light Hike will be to the beautiful Ivy Creek Trail at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center! This will be a very easy hike along the gorgeous Ivy Creek Greenway, below the Mall of Georgia, and ending at a beaver pond! Expect a couple cascading waterfalls along the way! All levels and as easy as it will ever be. This will be an easy hike with a difficulty level of D -1 with a distance of 2.5 miles. For your sake and the sake of the group, please do not assume beyond your ability. WHAT TO BRING: Small Day Pack to carry your gear- rain jacket, camera, water, etc. Optional Things to Bring: Hiking Poles. No children or animals please. LUNCH: MOD Pizza – 2925 Buford Dr, Suite 610, Buford, GA 30519 KEEP IN MIND: There are always dangerous and unforeseen elements when out in nature: Cliffs, water hazards, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, rocky, icy and have steep embankments. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.
