Get ready for another light hike in Roswell!!! November’s Light Hike will be to Leita Thompson Memorial Park. Some of the amenities include a garden, beautiful pond and even a dog park! So, come out as we enjoy some wonderful fellowship and great scenery together! This will be an easy hike with a difficulty level of D2 with a distance of 3.5 miles For your sake and the sake of the group, please do not assume beyond your ability. Hiking Rating Scale: D1 Easy (beginner hikers) mostly flat D2 Easy to moderate (regular hikers) some hills D3 Moderate (a cardio workout) mountainous D4 Moderate to strenuous (challenging workout) Steep grades/agility D5 Strenuous (serious physical challenge) Very steep and far WHAT TO BRING: Small Day Pack to carry your gear- rain jacket, camera, water, snacks, etc. Optional Things to Bring: Bible, Hiking Poles, First-Aid Kit, GPS. No children or animals please. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.
