This event is for you and your kids! Join us as we gather at one of Lake Lanier’s top beaches and parks. You must see Mary Alice Park with its incredible lakeview along with its beautiful sandy beach. We have rented the shaded pavilion next to the beach. So, no worries about getting too much sun! Calling all you single parents and single grandparents with children, we are EXCITED to offer you an incredible opportunity to bring the kiddos for an awesome day that is COMPLETELY FREE! Imagine this: laying out on the beach, fun field day activities with the kids, face-painting, burgers/dogs and SO MUCH MORE!!! We want to be a blessing to you and your family – so come out and experience a day focused on the family! REMINDER: This is NOT an open event. DATE: July 23rd 2022 TIME: 10am – 3pm FOOD: We will supply the drinks, burgers, dogs, chips, fix’ins, watermelon and paper goods. Echo is providing the outdoor activity supplies including: egg toss, water-balloon fight, sack-racing, three-legged racing, balls, frisbees, tubes and camp-chairs, but feel free to bring your own! SPECIAL NOTE: Our number one priority is the safety of your children! Due to the nature of our environment, it is expected that every parent will closely supervise and continually monitor their own children. Our staff and volunteers will be busy planning and organizing programs for your family's enjoyment! Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: So sorry, but no pets! You can find us at the pavilion directly past the boat dock. Look for the ECHO Ministries signs! Restrooms are close to our pavilion. KEEP IN MIND: There are always dangerous and unforeseen elements when out in nature: Cliffs, water hazards, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Poison Oak, Poison Sumac, etc. Trails in the park are un-maintained, slippery, rocky, and have steep embankments. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. There is no lifeguard on duty, swimming is at your own risk. WAIVER: By attending, each person and or parent, assumes all responsibility and liability for themselves and their children, including their actions and their children’s actions and hereby releases Echo Ministries, its employees, directors, officers, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability resulting from any loss, injury, illness, damages, or death, while attending, participating or volunteering in this event.
