Wow is all I can say! If you haven’t seen this 713 acre GIGANTIC gem-of-a-park in Gwinnett County then you are in for a treat. This trail is a VERY WIDE, relatively easy 3.6 mile, paved loop going around beautiful Lake Ozora. We will venture a little off trail to also see a beautiful set of hidden shoals. Over three-quarters of the trail is nestled under the huge canopy of the park which creates a cool-shaded experience. So, join us as we encounter the beautiful lake in the cool of the morning with wonderful fellowship in the presence of God! This will be an easy hike with a difficulty level of D - 2 with a distance of 3.6 miles. For your sake and the sake of the group, please do not assume beyond your ability. Hiking Rating Scale: D1 Easy (beginner hikers) mostly flat D2 Easy to moderate (regular hikers) some hills D3 Moderate (a cardio workout) mountainous D4 Moderate to strenuous (challenging workout) Steep grades/agility D5 Strenuous (serious physical challenge) Very steep and far The GPS address is: 2125 Tribble Mill Pkwy SE Lawrenceville, GA 30045. Enter the park onto Tribble Mill Parkway from New Hope Road. Go over a bridge and come to a stop sign. Take a right at the stop sign towards Holly Pavilion. The public parking will be on the left. Look for Echo signs! The GPS Coordinates are: 33.90860, -83.90233 (make sure to remember the comma, space and dash or the coordinates will not work). WHAT TO BRING: Small Day Pack to carry your gear- rain jacket, camera, water, snacks, etc. Optional Things to Bring: Bible, Hiking Poles, First-Aid Kit, GPS. No children or animals please. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.
