Would you like to run in a 5K? Or maybe running isn’t your thing so you would rather serve with the Body of Christ? Get ready to serve in a BRAND NEW way with a wonderful ministry! Echo will be partnering with Family Promise of Gwinnett County!! They are hosting a 5K and need two things: volunteers and runners! Family Promise of Gwinnett County brings existing local resources together to help homeless children and their families regain their housing and their independence, while maintaining their dignity. Since its inception Family Promise of Gwinnett County has helped over 3,000 individuals move from homelessness to housing in 90 days. LOCATION: Tribble Mill Park – 2125 Tribble Mill Pkwy SE Lawrenceville, GA 30045 DATE: November 16th 2019 TIME: 8:30am – 12:30pm OPEN EVENT: Feel free to bring your kids and married friends! *Volunteers will show up at 8:30am. If you are running in the race, be sure to get there early. Register at the link below to sign-up!* THE RACE: Races to Enter: Box 5K Run, Box 5K Walk, Box Kids, Run/Walk Race begins promptly at 9am. Course: The race is organized into 10 year age groups and will take place in the beautiful Tribble Mill Park. The race path follows the paved trails encircling the parks serene Chandler Lake area. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place runners by gender and age. Overall masters male and female will also be recognized. The event features music, corn hole, volleyball, badminton, face painting, and a bounce house. Food vendors will also be on hand offering food items and will take place in the beautiful Tribble Mill Park. Echo will be volunteering to help at all these different activity spots!
