Fall Creek Falls State Park encompasses a monumental 26,000 acres and contains Cane Creek Gorge, an area known for its unique geological formations with some of the most dramatic waterfalls in all of Tennessee! The park's namesake is the spectacular 256-foot Fall Creek Falls, the highest free-falling waterfall east of the Mississippi River. Sunday • Breakfast-Cereal AGENDA: Hiking to remarkable scenery each day, facilitated connecting, worship music, challenging devotional, playing games. GEAR TO BRING: Your own linens or a Sleeping Bag, Pillow, towel, toiletries, camera, Bible, daypack, camp chair. *If you need any of these, just let us know. ATTIRE: Jacket, Rain coat, 2 pairs of shoes in case one gets wet, shorts and long pants, modest swimsuit if you want to go in. BATHROOMS: Yes ladies, we have warm showers! Woohoo! CARPOOLING: Best to coordinate ahead of time about when you are going. You can post on FB event wall for others to see, or wait till the week of when we'll send out an email to all those on the roster. Most people just leave cars at peoples houses. IMPORTANT: (Please do not arrive past 9:30pm) The earlier you leave on Friday the better in order to see the amazing views driving along the parkway and to avoid the traffic. TRAVEL TIME from Alpharetta: approx 4 Hours (without Friday traffic) (Absolutely no arriving past 9:30pm) Best if you leave no later than 5:00pm on Friday. IF LOST PLEASE CALL before 5pm: 423-881-5298 KEEP IN MIND: that there are always dangerous elements when out in nature: Cliffs, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, icy, rocky and have steep embankments. Shoes may get muddy or wet. When hiking, many times the woods are your only bathroom. WAIVER: By attending, each person assumes all responsibility and liability for themselves and their actions and hereby releases Echo Ministries, its employees, directors, officers, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability resulting from any loss, injury, illness, damages, or death, while attending, participating or volunteering in this event.
