This hike is in a perfect location and includes so many wonderful attractions!! If you love gorgeous scenery and enjoy meeting new friends, then you don’t want to miss our light hike this month! While walking along this trail, you should expect to see: a covered bridge next to Big Creek, the old mill dam dating back to the civil war, beautiful trails and real bathrooms ALL WITHOUT parking fees. There are numerous hills but this will not be a race. If this is your first Echo event, you will be greeted with open arms!! We can't wait to meet you! This will be a hike with a difficulty level of D - 2 with a distance of 3 miles For your sake and the sake of the group, please do not assume beyond your ability. Lunch will be at Jason's Deli (10 min drive ); 7300 North Point Parkway, #118; Alpharetta, GA CARPOOL: Meet in the parking lot of the Best Buy at the intersection of North Point Parkway and Haynes Bridge at 9 am to depart at 9:15 am. KEEP IN MIND: There are always dangerous and unforeseen elements when out in nature: Cliffs, water hazards, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, rocky, icy and have steep embankments. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.
