We will be driving approx 15-20 mins from campground to reach each trailhead. Sunday • Breakfast-Cereal AGENDA: Hiking to remarkable scenery each day, facilitated connecting, campfire worship music, roasting marshmallows, challenging devotional, and much relaxation and hanging out. TEMPS: Day 80-60, Night 50-60 GEAR TO BRING: Sleeping Bag, Pad, Pillow, towel, toiletries, camera, Bible, Headlamp or flashlight, daypack, camp chair. *If you need any of these, just let us know. ATTIRE: Warm Jacket, Rain coat, 2 pairs of shoes in case one gets wet, both warm weather and cold weather clothes. WHAT NOT TO BRING: Children or pets TENTS: You may bring your own, or we can give you a spot in one. BATHROOMS: Yes and running water. Showers are 5 Minutes away. $5 CARPOOLING: Best to coordinate ahead of time about when you are going. You can post on FB event wall for others to see or wait till the week of when will send out an email to all those on the roster. Most people just leave cars at houses. KEEP IN MIND: that there are always dangerous elements when out in nature: Cliffs, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, icy, rocky and have steep embankments. Shoes may get muddy or wet. When hiking, many times the woods are your only bathroom. WAIVER: By attending, each person assumes all responsibility and liability for themselves and their actions and hereby releases Echo Ministries, its employees, directors, officers, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability resulting from any loss, injury, illness, damages, or death, while attending, participating or volunteering in this event.
