DescriptionHey Singles come join us as we watch the Super Bowl while we bowl. We have several lanes reserved for a fun night of bowling, food fellowship,and football at Stars and Strikes in Cumming. While we wait for our lanes we'll grab a bite to eat there, do a short devotional, and then bowl our hearts out.

Adults only

PRICE: $1.99 cents per game + tax (YES you read it right!)
(Shoes extra) Approx $4 Pay when you arrive.
We will play at least 2 games with 4-6 people per lane.

IF YOU ARE BOWLING: You must be there no later than 5:40pm

FOOD 5pm: Eat there. Order and pay for your own.

Light Hike to the West Palisades: RAINED OUT

DescriptionTomorrow's Light Hike to the West Palisades is cancelled due to rainy forecast. Have a blessed weekend!

Join us as we hike to the beautiful West Palisades of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. We will be doing waterfront hiking alongside the Hooch, as well as up and down some old growth forest areas, all while enjoying times of fellowship with one another.

Specifics:
This will be an easy hike with a difficulty level of D-2 with a distance of about 3 miles
For your sake and the sake of the group, please do not assume beyond your ability.
Hiking Rating Scale: D-2 Hike Difficulty
D-1 Easy (beginner hikers) mostly flat
D-2 Easy to moderate (regular hikers) some hills
D-3 Moderate (a cardio workout) mountainous
D-4 Moderate to strenuous (challenging workout) Steep grades/agility
D-5 Strenuous (serious physical challenge) Very steep and far

Location:
The GPS address is 932 Akers Ridge Drive SE; Atlanta, GA 30339. From 285, take exit 22 and go south on Northside Drive. Turn right on Powers Ferry Road and go over the Chattahoochee. At the intersection of Powers Ferry and Aker's Mill Road, go straight on Aker's Mill Road. Turn left/south on Aker's Drive SE; it looks like you are turning into an apartment complex but turn anyway. Look for a small park sign on the left and follow the sign. There is a parking fee to park in their dirt lot.

Wondering what to bring?
Small Day Pack to carry your gear - rain jacket (dependent upon the weather), a camera if you wanted to capture the beautiful scenery, Water to stay hydrated, and a hiking poles if necessary, and your Bible as we will be diving into God's word.

Note: Please do not bring children or animals.

Lunch:
After our hike we will satisfy our appetites by continuing to fellowship at Jason's Deli at Cumberland Mall; 1109 Cumberland Mall/ # 136.

Carpool: Meet in the parking lot of Best Buy at the intersection of North Point Parkway and Haynes Bridge at 8:50 to depart at 9 a.m.

Keep in Mind:
There are always dangerous and unforeseen elements when out in nature: Cliffs, water hazards, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, rocky, icy and have steep embankments. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.

Come join us and be blessed as we also lift up each other, as well as the ministry, plus get free food!
BUT I DON’T PRAY OUT LOUD, no worries! You may pray silently...no pressure!
FIRST: We'll start off with some fellowship and some delicious pizza and salad. Then a time of corporate prayer "Popcorn style". Then we'll break out into groups of 5 to 8 so we can meet each other and share our prayer requests.
FOOD: We supply the Pizza, Salad and soft drinks. You may bring any type of appetizer or dessert, if you desire.

Caring Hands: Georgia Mountain Food Bank

DescriptionHey Singles, come join us as we serve together at the GA Mtn Food Bank in this great outreach opportunity. We will be sorting food into categories and making shelf-stable food bags for their mobile food distribution unit. The food will be distributed for local low income housing development and apartment complex needs. Come out and help us show the love of Christ by helping with this need.

Go approximately 0.8 miles, and turn left onto Calvary Industrial Drive SW. Georgia Mountain Food Bank facility will be on the right. GPS may be wrong so please follow the directions.

Trailblazer Hike to 4 Amazing Waterfalls

Come join us for a day of awe-inspiring scenery, good exercise and great fellowship as we get out and explore God’s incredible creation.
We will be venturing into southern Rabun County to 4 absolutely gorgeous waterfalls.
WEATHER PERMITTING

TRAIL DESCRIPTION: Approx 4 mi R/T total. D3 (See scale below)
3 trails not to far from each other.
Falls: Haven (aka His & Her) Falls, Minnehaha, Angel and Panther

TIME 10:00pm to 3:30pm.

HIKE DIFFICULTY: D3

• ALPHARETTA: Meet at Best Buy. Park in outer lot away from building, stright out from enterance. Meet at 8:30am Leave at 8:35am sharp.
• DAWSONVILLE: Meet at PUBLIX in outer lot by Chili's. Look for people in cars. Meet at 9:00, leave 9:05am sharp.
• GWINNETT: Meet in the PARK & RIDE lot on Hwy 20. Park nearest the Golden Coral. Look for people in cars. Time 8:45am leave 8:50am sharp.
• CLARKESVILLE: Meet at Ingles at 10pm. Here we will also consoldate vehicles. MEET & GREET WILL BE HERE. Gather in the outer parking lot.
